Sunday Things… 9.13.20

September 13, 2020 by Leah Goldglantz

Welcome back to another edition of ‘Sunday Things’ where I share my favorite finds from around the internet this past week. It’s mostly yummy healthy recipe finds, any articles that I find interesting as well as a few fashion finds. I also share a little weekend recap! I hope you enjoy!!

Sunday Things 576x1024 - Sunday Things... 9.13.20

Weekend Recap

Good morning! It’s currently 7:15am as I’m sitting here writing this post. I’m cuddled up on the couch with a blanket sipping on my hot coffee. The girls and Josh are still sleeping and I’m relishing in these last few moments of my quiet alone time for the day. I love these early morning hours on a Sunday… especially knowing we have no where to rush off to.

We stayed at my mom’s beach house last night so we could unplug, disconnect from the world all while reconnecting with each other. We plan to hang on the beach today (weather permitting – it’s probably going to rain) and just be super lazy with no agenda. I’m thinking I’ll make pancakes for everyone this morning. Pancakes just go hand-in-hand with Sunday morning.

Friday night Josh and I went to dinner (our first date night since Covid hit in March)! We went to Casa D’Angelo for those who asked after I shared our meal over on IG stories. For my local friends: they had a nice outdoor seating area and it felt very safe. All of the tables were far apart from each other and they only sat people at every other table. As much as I love. hanging at home in sweatpants (probably more than anyone, lol) it was fun to get dolled up and dressed up for once. Josh and I also really needed that time to be alone and connect (so tough to do when we’re home with the kids).

Healthy, delish recipe finds

Can’t wait to make this creamy garlic pasta with seared scallops for dinner! Such a great at-home date night meal!

Loving this beautiful summery peach salad!

Tis the season for apple cider donuts! I just created the yummiest paleo version of them with a salted caramel glaze! Recipe here!!

Easy extra fudgy vegan brownies are definitely on the agenda to bake this week!

I always love a good cobb salad! Def making for lunch one day this week.

This paleo basil cashew chicken looks so good for an easy weeknight dinner!

How amazing do these chipotle quinoa burgers look?! Can’t wait to make them on my next Meatless Monday!!

Healthy kid-friendly dinner ideas. SO many of you have asked me this, and I do want to come up with a list of my own, but for now these are so great!!

Fashion Finds

I’ve been loving bodysuits lately and I just ordered this one in black and light brown. It’s marked down to $21!!

Love this $30 black t-shirt dress. So easy to and effortless to throw on with sneakers, sandals or even boots. So into Amazon fashion lately! They have such great stuff for amazing prices.

Speaking of Amazon fashion… I just got this black workout set (leggings and sports bra)… then entire set is $28!! It comes in SO many colors!! It ran true to size.

I also got this $5 white cropped sweatshirt... so easy to throw on with jeans or workout leggings.

My favorite $40 white Freedom Moses slides are back in stock! I just ordered them again because I’ve had mine for months and they got dirty, so wanted a fresh pair 🙂

I’ve been living in these $45 gold hoop earrings. They instantly give me a little ‘pop’

Obsessing over these APL sneakers. They are really $$$, but may splurge on them! I love that I don’t have to tie them and really into that look!

Shows I’m currently binge-watching

I just finished The Real Housewives of Bev Hills & NYC… so now I’m watching both reunions. They’re virtual, but I’m actually oddly into it!!

I can’t wait for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City!!! My dad has a place in Park City, which is nearby, so I’m excited to see what spots we should check out and give me more ideas of things to do next time we’re there! I also know someone on the cast!

The Home Edit on Netflix… just started watching it and it’s giving me so many good ideas for how to get organized at home.

Million Dollar Listing LA… I’ve always loved this show and currently very into it! I love Tracy!!! Who is your favorite on the show? Comment below on this post!

Jeffrey Epstein documentary on Netflix… very disturbing and put me in a weird headspace after I finished it, but I still watched it. If you’re not looking for a ‘feel-good’ show, then it’s really interesting.

Please comment on this post below any shows you’re loving! I need more recommendations!!
