The best and most delicious easy-to-make tuna melt!



  • 2 cans wild-caught tuna (drained)
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 3 tbsp diced red onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • pinch of salt & pepper
  • bread (I love sourdough, whole wheat; or can use paleo or gluten-free bread)
  • cheese (always opt for grass-fed and organic). I like swiss or cheddar for this.


  1. Turn the oven on broil.
  2. Add the canned tuna (drained), mayonnaise, dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery, red onion, garlic, & a pinch of salt & pepper to a mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Spoon the tuna salad on top of a few slices of bread.
  4. Freshly grate some swiss cheese or cheddar cheese on top of the tuna salad.
  5. Place in the oven and broil for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
