Patriotic French Toast Skewers by Leah's Plate



  1. Add coconut oil or butter to a pan on the stove and heat over low heat.
  2. Add the egg, cinnamon, vanilla extract and almond milk into a bowl. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Dip the bread into the mixture and place on the frying pan. Slightly raise the heat to cook over medium.
  4. Cook for approximately 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  5. Once the french toast is cooked, cut into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Layer the french toast and fruit on a skewer.
  7. Place the skewers on a plate and drizzle the maple syrup over the skewers.
