Today on the blog we’ll be chatting about some favorite new wellness hacks that I’ve recently added into my morning routine as well as sharing a new smoothie recipe I’ve been obsessing over!

Wellness Hacks!

I have some new additions to my morning routine lately that I’ve been wanting to share with you! For years upon waking up I always drink a glass of warm water with freshly squeezed lemon. I’d then make myself breakfast (usually a smoothie or oatmeal).  However, I’ve added some other new wellness hacks into my morning routine that have been making me feel SO good! After my warm lemon water I now have a fresh organic celery juice. There’s so many health benefits to drinking celery juice on an empty stomach that I’ll have to do a whole other post just on that! (Coming soon)!


About an hour after the celery juice I eat breakfast and lately I’ve been obsessed with this new killer smoothie combo! The blend is almond milk, cashew butter, cinnamon, strawberry, banana and cauliflower. I’ll post more detailed instructions below. It’s SOO good!

After breakfast I take my prenatal vitamin (since I’m breastfeeding) as well as a probiotic and KRILL OIL! Have you heard of krill oil? I hadn’t heard of it until about a month ago, so let me tell you more…

Strawberry Banana Cashew Smoothie

Wellness Hacks!

A delicious thick and creamy smoothie that is easy to make and requires minimal ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower (I steam it before I freeze it for easier digestion)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy with a spoon since it’s so thick and creamy!
