Being a mama with a child under one I’m always looking for fun daytime activities to do with my other mama friends. I thought it would be such a fun idea to host a smoothie party! I gathered a few of my girlfriends (and our babies) at my home for the festivity!!
I partnered with Daily Harvest to host the party because I’m such a huge fan of their smoothies! I also wanted my girlfriends to try them and knew they would love them as well! If I had to make every smoothie from scratch for the party it would have taken me hours. Daily Harvest made the process so quick and simple by delivering the smoothie ingredients in pre-portioned cups so all I had to do was toss it into the blender with some almond milk or coconut water and blend!
It took me under 10 minutes to make all the smoothies and then I got to sit back and relax (who am I kidding – it wasn’t relaxing with our babies around). Anyway, I was able to hang out with my friends while we sipped on our smoothies. The babies also LOVED the smoothies so much that I ended up making them their own.
I set up a ‘topping bar’ at my kitchen table with an assortment of granola, chia seeds, hemp seeds, shredded coconut, fresh fruit and nut butters. My friends loved the topping bar and had a lot of fun picking out their toppings. After we made our smoothies and picked our desired toppings we took the smoothies outside to enjoy. It was so nice to sit outside in the fresh air and sip on our smoothies!
My smoothie party was a success and I’d definitely host another one!
