Paleo Recipes

Whether you call it Paleo or Caveman, this diet has stood the test of time.

If you’re new here, welcome to Leah’s Plate, where you’ll discover my collection of tried-and-tested recipes for various diets, including paleo diet recipes.

The paleo diet eliminates any unprocessed food from our diet, leaving only lean meats, fish, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Some people call it the caveman diet because it’s back to basics - you eat what you can hunt and gather (imaginably), like a caveman.

I want to show you that even today, a delicious paleo diet is accessible and achievable. You’ll see that with common ingredients, you’ll be able to put together amazing paleo dishes that are packed with nutrients like this healthy paleo cobb salad.

I also share some paleo-friendly vegetarian recipes for lunch and dinner. Paleo recipes don’t have to be all meat! Take this paleo sriracha cauliflower fried rice for instance. Now that was a mouthful.

If you’re looking for sweet treats that are paleo-friendly, I’d like to welcome you to paradise. I make a mean guilt-free paleo dessert, and have plenty of recipes for you to try! These desserts are naturally sweetened and clean, too. At dinner parties, or as a weekend reward, learn how to make this ridiculously yummy double chocolate mug cake.

Creamy chia pudding with all the toppings - love t Creamy chia pudding with all the toppings - love this for a satisfying breakfast! Chia seeds are packed with fiber and most of us don’t get enough fiber in our diets...

To make the chia pudding: in a blender add 1 cup almond milk, 1/4 cup chia seeds & 1/2 ripe banana (the banana is optional, but I love that it naturally sweetens it & makes it nice and creamy. Blend then pour into a jar and refrigerate overnight (or for at least an hour). Add desired toppings. I love fresh berries, grain-free granola & hemp seeds. Love some almond butter drizzled on top too!

I remember about two years ago I had a cough that I remember about two years ago I had a cough that was lingering so I went to a doctor that I had never been to before just to get checked out and make sure everything was okay. The doctor spent under 5 minutes with me, barely checked me out and almost immediately wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic. I was questioning why I was taking an antibiotic and he didn’t really take the time to explain and rushed off to another patient. I trusted my gut instinct that I didn’t need an antibiotic (I am definitely open to taking them was necessary), and 5 days later my cough went away on its own. I could dive deeper into this, but wanted to share that I am so glad I have found a doctor that spends adequate time with me - whenever I need - for as long as I need. You deserve that!! We all deserve that.

I’m so lucky to be in such great hands with @steadymd - they’re an online doctor that’s available via an app on your phone and you can reach out with anything anytime! I spent over an hour last week on the phone with my functional MD going over bloodwork. All of my questions were thoroughly answered. A functional MD is the best fit for ME (my doc takes a whole person approach to health & understands things like training, recovery & nutrition), but whats so great is SteadyMD matches you with a doctor that aligns with YOU and your specific medical needs, diet, lifestyle and goals, not just someone who's local based on a quick quiz you take!

SteadyMD is so convenient and refreshing and is EXACTLY what I've been looking for in a doctor. Plus it's super convenient - No co-pays. No waiting rooms. Just unlimited access to a doctor who “gets” you.

Click the link in my bio or visit steadymd.com/leahsplate to get started.

Thank you so much to SteadyMD for partnering on this post! I’m so grateful to partner with a company I believe in so much 🤍
